The Ile St-Louis is truly the heart of Paris, surrounded by the Seine in the center of the city. Notre-Dame and the river’s scenic quays -- are steps away. A village in itself, the island has its own cafés, restaurants, shops and boutiques. A stroll over one of many bridges will take you to the bistros and shops of the Latin Quarter and St-Germain-des-Prés on the Left bank. Cross a bridge on the other side of the island and you’ll be in the historic Marais. A more historic and central location for enjoying the delights of Paris cannot be found. This studio apartment is on the 6th and top floor (see note below) of a 19th-century building with elevator access. The apartment has views over the city’s rooftops.
