The Marais is one of the most celebrated districts of Paris. Just a short walk away is the historic Place des Vosges, not to mention the Musée Picasso and the Musée Carnavalet, among the city’s most unique and interesting small museums. Nearby is Bofinger, a celebrated Alsatian-style brasserie. And the bustling neighborhood on the rue St-Antoine -- with its markets, specialty shops, cafés and restaurants —is also just steps away.

This charming apartment is on the second floor of a late 17th-century building with elevator access. It has been fully renovated and features high beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and hardwood floors. Overlooking an interior courtyard, the apartment is light and quiet. The furnishings are tasteful and stylish, and the apartment is considered spacious by Paris standards with 850 sq. ft. of living space.

French doors from the entry lead into the open-plan living-dining room. Comfortable seating includes two upholstered sofas grouped around a coffee table. Nearby the dining area has a rectangular wood table for 4-6 people. Adjacent is the galley kitchen, small but well-equipped. A corridor leads to an office with desk, book shelves and good-quality sofabed for one guest. On the hall is a full bathroom with shower. On the other side of the office is a door to the bedroom with queen bed and full ensuite bath. Both bathrooms feature travertine marble tilework.

An attractive and inviting apartment in the heart of the Marais.

"Thank you! We had a wonderful time, and it was great to come home to such a nice apartment. The neighborhood is terrific, too."
