The Left Bank, with its historic monuments and diverse neighborhoods, is one of the cornerstones of Paris. From the rue de Rennes, historic St-Sulpice, St-Germain-des-Prés and their stylish shopping areas are just steps away. Also within short walks are the Luxembourg Gardens, Montparnasse and a wealth of museums, markets, lively cafés and restaurants.
Located in a late 19th-century building with wrought-iron balconies, this apartment is on the 5th floor with elevator access. It is spacious by Paris standards at 1,200 square feet. High ceilings, original molding and decorative fireplaces accent a combination of contemporary furnishings and antique pieces. Off the entry hall to the right is the large living room with two sitting areas, each with upholstered sofas and armchairs. Complementing this inviting room are antique chests, occasional tables and lamps. Off the entry to the left is the dining room with round wood table and chairs for 6 people. The kitchen is large by Paris standards and particularly well-equipped with American-style refrigerator, tile counters, breakfast table and all modern conveniences. Accessed from the living room is the guest bedroom with small desk, bookshelves and its bathroom. Also off the hall to the left is the master bedroom with a large double bed. Both bedrooms overlook a quiet side street. Completing the apartment are the main bathroom and a separate toilet room. A roomy and well-appointed apartment in the heart of the stylish Left Bank. |
