This apartment is located in the prestigious 7th arrondissement, and also borders the 6th arrondissement. It is near the stylish shopping areas of the rue de Varenne and rue de Grenelle, and it is a block away from the rue des Saints-Pères and the rue du Bac. Cafés, restaurants and markets abound, and Saint-Germain-des-Prés is just steps away. The apartment is accessible to all parts of the city.

Our apartment is located in an early 19th-century stone building on the 1st floor (see note below) accessible by elevator. It has been totally renovated using the finest materials while retaining traditional architectural features such as high ceilings, ornamental molding, decorative fireplaces and parquet floors. The decor includes both quality contemporary furnishings and antique pieces.

A corridor leads to an inviting living-dining room. Stone and wood floors and pastel walls complement two yellow sofas and a brown leather easy chair grouped around a glass-topped coffee table. Across from the sitting area is a lovely antique wood dining table and chairs for 6 people. The room has several sets of French windows overlooking a quiet courtyard. Adjacent is the fully-equipped kitchen with stainless professional-level appliances and a round stone breakfast table seating 4.

Off the entry hall is a library with extra sleeping space for a guest. Also off the hall are two bedrooms, both overlooking a narrow street. The master bedroom has a queen-size canopy bed and ensuite bath. The other bedroom has twin beds convertible to a queen. Down the corridor is another bathroom with separate WC.

A stylish apartment and a wonderful place to call home.

"I looked at almost every apartment for rent on the internet . . . yours was the right size, location and 'upscaleness'.   A bit more expensive than others, but well worth it.   It was perfect!"
