Just steps from the Seine and the Latin Quarter, and across from the Ile Saint-Louis, this area still has the authentic feel of a charming, old Parisian neighborhood. From the rue de Poissy you can walk to the Place Maubert, where the local outdoor market is held twice weekly.
Located in a turn-of-the-century building, this 3-bedroom apartment overlooks the tree lined quays of the Seine. It is on the 4th floor with elevator access. A corner apartment, it is light and bright with large windows, pastel walls, wood parquet floors and gracious furnishings, both antique and contemporary. A large entry hall leads to the living-dining room with windows and small balcony overlooking the Seine. The sitting area has two comfortable sofas grouped around a coffee table, and there is a pretty wood dining table for 6 people. Across from the living room is one bedroom with windows on the Seine. Off the entry are 2 more bedrooms, one with windows on a side street and a small one overlooking an interior courtyard. All of the bedrooms are decorated with pretty bedspreads and curtains. Also off the entry hall are the fully equipped kitchen with stone counters and new appliances, as well as the bathroom and separate WC. A lovely apartment in a picturesque and highly central location. |
