The Ile Saint Louis is centrally located and convenient to all that Paris has to offer. A 5-minute walk will take you to Notre Dame Cathedral. The Latin Quarter on the Left Bank, and the Marais on the Right Bank, are just short strolls away. This one-bedroom apartment is located in a small 17th century building that houses five apartments, one on each floor. The apartment is on the first floor (see note) with stair access. The living room has high ceilings, wood beams, exposed stone walls, and a decorative fireplace that is the focal point of the room. With its wood floors, area rugs, and the warm colors of the walls, draperies and furniture, this apartment has a special character and charm. The living area has a comfortable upholstered sofa and two easy chairs grouped around a glass-topped wrought iron coffee table. In the dining area are a round wood table for four people and a large wood china chest. The room is accented by tall windows overlooking a quiet street. Off the main room is a kitchenette with tan tile work and wood cabinets. A short corridor leads to the bedroom decorated with pretty blue and yellow curtains and bedspread. The bathroom has a WC and tub with shower. A charming home base in Paris' island village. |
