The rue de Bièvre is a narrow street between the boulevard St-Germain and the quays of the Seine. Notre Dame Cathedral and the Isle St-Louis are your neighbors, both just 5 minutes walking. Stroll up the street to the Place Maubert, where you'll find a variety of shops and a twice-weekly open-air market. And St-Germain-des-Prés, along with all the historic sights and lively neighborhoods of the Latin Quarter, are within easy walking distance.

Set in a 17th-century building, this apartment is spacious by Paris standards. It has been completely renovated and retains traditional architectural features such as wood beamed ceilings, hardwood floors and tall windows. The décor includes classic furnishings with antique accents.

Entry is into the open-plan living-dining room overlooking the quiet street. In the sitting area are a pretty upholstered sofa, two armchairs and occasional tables. Behind is the dining area with round table for 4 people. In the corner by the window is a small office area. Off the living room is the well-equipped kitchen with ceramic tilework, granite counters and all appliances.

To the left of the entry down a short corridor is the bedroom with window on a quiet courtyard. A queen poster bed and antique armoire are set off by pale yellow walls. The bathroom and separate toilet facilities are across the hall.

A very attractive apartment in a highly-central Left-Bank location.
