The neighborhood between the historic St-Sulpice and St-Germain churches is among the most stylish on the Left Bank. The shops, cafés, restaurants and markets of both the St-Germain-des-Prés and St-Sulpice areas are steps away. Also within easy walking distance are the Luxembourg Gardens and banks of the Seine. Our apartment is located on a small street in a fashionable, contemporary building not far from St-Sulpice. On the second floor (French, see note below) with elevator access, the apartment is light and bright with plenty of windows, pale yellow walls and hardwood floors. To the right of the entry is the well-designed living-dining room. The sitting area has a tan leather sofa and leather chair with black coffee table. Opposite is a sleek wall unit with desk space and shelves, and to the side is a round wood drop-leaf dining table with chairs. The room is accented by a colorful rug and original art and sketches. Off the main room is the bedroom with pretty bedspread, curtains and lots of closet space. Adjacent is a large bathroom with marble floor and walls. The compact kitchen, with white tile floor and white cabinets, is off the entry as is a half bath. A great apartment in an exclusive Left-bank location.
