The Quai aux Fleurs looks out on the Seine from the Ile de la Cité. Notre-Dame and a pedestrian bridge to the Ile St-Louis are just steps away. This one-bedroom apartment is in a classic old building on the 2nd floor with stair access (see note below). It has been completely renovated and features wood floors and elegant period furnishings. By Paris standards, it is quite roomy. Windows in the living-dining room face the river with lovely views on the Ile St-Louis and Hôtel de Ville. In the sitting area are an upholstered sofa, period loveseat and two armchairs grouped around a wood coffee table. The dining area has an antique wood table and chairs, and the room is accented with several antique wood pieces and interesting old engravings. To the right of the entry is the well-equipped galley kitchen. A door off the living room opens to the bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom with shower. Both the bedroom and bathroom face the back and have windows on a quiet street. A comfortable apartment with lovely views in the center of the city. |
