This charming cottage is located across the Rhône in the old hilltop village of les Angles, just minutes from the center of Avignon. The living space is on two levels with entry through the living-dining room with wood-beamed ceiling, sofa and chair and dining table for four. Off this room is a small outdoor terrace with café table and beautiful views to the Rhône and surrounding countryside.
The kitchen is compact and efficient with another table and eating area. Also on this level are a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and WC. There is a second double bed on the mezzanine above the living room. Downstairs is a small den with day bed/sofa and decorative fireplace. Antique tile flooring is a lovely accent throughout this pleasant house in a unique village setting. A charming pied-a-terre in the heart of Provence. |
