The grounds include an enclosed swimming pool, a rare find in a village property. And you're just steps from the plane-tree shaded main square and cafés, restaurants, bakeries, markets and all services you'll need to settle into Provençal village life. Inside, the house has been entirely restored and decorated with great Provençal character and flair. It features terra cotta tile floors, beautiful ceramic tilework, top quality appliances and fixtures, and a combination of stylish modern furniture and antique pieces. The entry hall opens to a spacious living-dining room. It is light and bright thanks to striking leaded glass doors opening to the terrace and pool. At one end two beige upholstered loveseats are grouped around an ottoman-coffee table. Behind is the dining area with French country table and chairs and antique chest. A cane bench and chairs complete this appealing room. Adjacent to the dining area is the galley kitchen. Well designed and fully equipped, it has terra cotta tile counters, gray wood cabinets and a door opening to the covered dining terrace. Also on this level are separate toilet facilities. Stairs from the entry lead to two bedrooms, each with twin beds and ensuite bath. The bedrooms feature lovely quilts, antique tables, lamps and chests. The bathrooms boast beautiful ceramic tilework with colorful painted tile accents over the sinks. One of the bathrooms includes toilet facilities. The other has a shower and sink ensuite, with separate toilet facilities on the hall. An exceptional village home in a scenic setting in the Vaucluse. **Note: this property is next door to Caromb Village (AH81), accommodating 6 people. Each house may be rented separately. They may also be rented together for 10 people. |
