The Var region in eastern Provence is the setting for this comfortable villa. The Var is well located between the heart of Provence and the Côte d’Azur, a perfect homebase for day trips to Aix-en-Provence as well as St-Tropez, Nice and Cannes. And the Var itself, a less touristed area, is full of scenic countryside, charming villages, towns and interesting sights to explore.
Located near les Arcs, the villa has a cream-colored stucco exterior and tan tile roof. Totally enclosed, the grounds feature mature trees including oaks, palm, cypress, olive and mimosa, a large lawn, a beautiful mosaic-tile pool surrounded by a stone tile terrace and lovely landscaped beds with native shrubs and flowering plants. Adjacent to the house is a covered terrace with dining and lounging furniture. Inside, the house boasts traditional Provençal features including beamed ceilings and tile floors. It is light and bright with large windows and white walls and decorated with quality contemporary furnishings. Just off the entry is the dining area with rectangular wood table and chairs for 8 people. Several stairs lead down to the spacious living room with fireplace. Here, leather and upholstered sofas, along with a leather easy chair, are grouped around a glass-topped wrought iron coffee table. Additional glass-topped side tables and lamps complete this attractive room. A door leads to the spacious kitchen with glass-topped breakfast table. It is fully equipped with all appliances, pale yellow cabinets and counters. French doors from both the living room and kitchen open to the covered terrace, pool and garden. A corridor from the entry leads to 4 bedrooms, two with ensuite showers and sinks. Two of the bedrooms have standard double beds and the other two have twins. Each room is colorfully decorated with pretty bedcovers, curtains and throw rugs. Also on the hall is another full bathroom. Additional toilet facilities are located on the entry hall.
