St-Germain-des-Prés is among Paris’ most historic and stylish neighborhoods. The celebrated church for which the area is named is just a block away. And the renowned cafés, restaurants, open-air markets and boutiques are all easy walks.
Our apartment is set back from the street on a quiet courtyard overlooking trees and flowers. It has been totally renovated and decorated with casual contemporary furnishings. Large windows and pale gray walls make the apartment light and bright. It is on the 3rd floor (see note below) with stair access. Entry is into the main room with sitting and dining areas open-plan to the kitchen. The upholstered sofa is a day bed with trundle below to accommodate 1-2 people, and there is a pine drop-leaf dining table with 4 chairs. A bar separates the well-designed galley kitchen with counter-top oven and all other appliances. A door from the main room opens to the bedroom with double bed overlooking trees in the courtyard below. The bathroom with white-tiled shower and sink is off the bedroom, and there are separate toilet facilities off the main room. The apartment features cable television, high speed internet access and free telephone service to landlines in 15 countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, Israel, China and Singapore. Calls to landlines within France and to other designated European countries are also free.
