The historic house sports a pale ocher façade with blue shutters. Totally private, the property is enclosed by high stone walls and features two courtyards filled with trees, flowers, hanging plants and vines at both front and rear. There is also a small terrace overlooking the back courtyard with its large teak dining table and chairs. These are all perfect spots for enjoying snacks, aperitifs or al fresco meals.

Inside, the old house has retained tremendous architectural character. The ground floor features the original vaulted ceilings in the living room, kitchen and dining room. Dark wood beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls, terra cotta tile and wood floors complement casual contemporary furnishings, French country antique tables, chests and occasional wood pieces. Fully updated, the house includes all appliances and modern conveniences including air-conditioned bedrooms and high-speed internet access on request.

From the front courtyard, there are two doors with entry into the dining room or into the kitchen. At one end of the ground level, the French country kitchen features tiled counters, antique-finished wood cabinets, a wood-topped preparation table, all appliances and a round wood breakfast table. From here a door leads to the dining room with fireplace, a wood farm table and chairs for 8 people. From the dining room, a door opens to the back courtyard as well.

A corridor from the dining room leads to the living room with a rattan sofa and easy chairs along one side and long built-in banquette on the other side. The room is warm and welcoming with colorful pillows and cushions. All of the ground floor rooms boast exceptional atmosphere under the original 15th-century vaulted ceilings.

Stairs from the living room lead to a cozy den with wood-beamed ceiling, fireplace, satellite television and a writing desk. Seating includes two burgundy-colored armchairs with ottomans grouped around a glass-topped wrought-iron coffee table. In the corner is a kitchenette-bar with small refrigerator, sink and tea-coffee making facilities. From the den, doors open to a terrace with small café table and chairs. Stairs from this terrace go down to the back courtyard with its large teak table and chairs.

There are a total of 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are on the second floor and share a bathroom on the hall. The other two bedrooms and bathrooms, including the large master suite are on the third floor. All of the bedrooms are well decorated with colorful bedcovers, curtains, bedside tables, lamps and antique accents. The bathrooms are tiled and feature quality ceramics and fixtures. A corridor from the second floor den leads to two bedrooms with wood parquet floors, one with twin beds and another with a queen bed. Also accessed on the corridor is a full bathroom with tub-shower, sink and toilet facilities.

Stairs from the den lead to a bedroom with double bed and adjacent bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Another staircase at the end of the corridor leads up to the spacious master suite with high wood-beamed ceiling, queen bed, a lovely wood armoire and writing table. The suite includes a bathroom with large shower with double shower head, sink and toilet facilities. This staircase also goes back down to the kitchen. On the mezzanine level up from the kitchen are additional toilet facilities.
