Set in seven acres of pine-wooded grounds, this stone mas boasts lovely views of the Luberon mountains and countryside. The grounds feature wonderful facilities for both active and relaxing vacations. Set away from the house is a large swimming pool with a stone tile terrace and plenty of lounging furniture. Nearby is the pool house with shower and toilet facilities as well as a summer kitchen with an outdoor dining area for 12 people, barbecue, cooktop, sink and refrigerator. Beyond is the hard-surface tennis court, and there is also a boules court for those eager to try their hand at the quintessential Provençal pastime. Along the front of the house is another terrace where you can take full advantage of the exceptional country views. Inside, the house has been renovated with no expense spared. Traditional wood beamed ceilings, white walls, and terra cotta tile floors complement a combination of stylish contemporary and antique furnishings and every convenience from the finest appliances to high speed internet access. Off the entry hall to the left is a light and airy living-dining room. In the sitting area are an upholstered sofa and four easy chairs grouped around an ottoman in front of the stone fireplace. On the other side of the room is a long antique dining table with seating for 12 people. High ceilings and white walls make this room particularly appealing along with bookcases and an antique chest. Two sets of French doors open to the grounds and to the front stone terrace with a large wrought iron dining table. An archway from the living room opens to a marvelous country kitchen with stone counters and cream-colored cabinets. Designed and equipped with serious cooks in mind, it features a center island with ample barstools for informal meals and snacks. The appliances are all first-class and include a professional-level stove, side-by-side refrigerator and a full contingent of small appliances and kitchen equipment. From here, French doors open to a back graveled courtyard. There are a total of 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Four of the bedrooms and bathrooms are in the main house. The fifth bedroom and bathroom are located in the petite maison, an independent studio accessed off the back courtyard. All of the bedrooms are decorated with pretty bedcovers, curtains, and charming antique wood pieces. The bathrooms have fine fixtures and lovely ceramic, stone, or travertine marble tilework. In the main house to the right of the entry hall are 2 bedroom suites, each with full bathrooms. One has twin beds and a small terrace looking towards the pool. The other has a queen bed. Also on this level beyond the kitchen are a single bedroom and small bathroom with shower next door on the hall. Stairs on the entry hall lead to the comfortable master bedroom with queen bed and private terrace with magnificent views of the countryside. Across the hall is the master bathroom with large travertine-tiled shower, antique-style ceramic sink and toilet. Also upstairs is an office-library with wood desk and easy chair. A large glass window in the library overlooks the living-dining room below. Topping off the sleeping accommodations is the petite maison, an independent studio-guest house accessed from a door by the kitchen to the back courtyard. The studio is decorated in the style of the main house with ample windows overlooking the courtyard, beamed ceilings, white walls and antique accents. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a mezzanine sleeping area above with two twin beds best for children. Completing the studio is a full bathroom with shower and a kitchenette with small cooktop and refrigerator.
