| Located in the countryside near the historic village of Cadouin, this old stone home has been stunningly renovated and furnished. It is set in gorgeous landscaped grounds featuring a grassy terrace adjacent to the house, a large garden with lawn, shrubs, flowers and tall trees, a plane-tree shaded dining area and a beautiful cascading pool that can be heated.
Inside the house has been strikingly decorated and includes both stone-tile and wood floors as well as a combination of sleek art deco and contemporary furnishings, all accented by many original works of art. On the main level is the kitchen which leads to a very large open-plan living-dining room and den. A great kitchen for cooks, it features butcher block counters, white wood cabinets, a round mosaic tile-topped table and every modern convenience. The kitchen opens to the spacious L-shaped living-dining room. It is light and bright with pastel walls and French doors opening to the grounds. In front of the fireplace is a black leather sofa and several easy chairs grouped around a glass-topped wrought iron coffee table. The room is accented by a variety of occasional tables and lamps. Behind is the dining area where there is a light wood retro-style table for 10 people and marble-topped art deco buffets. Around the corner is a den with more comfortable seating.
Off the living room are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Stairs lead up to a landing and corridor of polished white wood and yellow walls. Off this corridor are 3 more bedrooms, two of which have ensuite baths. There is another bathroom on the hall. The bedrooms all have dark wood floors and feature different decors, and all are stylishly furnished. The bathrooms have beautiful mosaic tilework in a variety of colors.
