Located in the heart of the Dordogne Valley near the tiny village of Urval, this old stone house couldn’t be more centrally located. Accented with brown shutters and covered with vines, the house is planted with colorful flowers and shrubs. Across the way is the pretty swimming pool with stone terrace, and adjacent a natural garden with large lawn surrounded by tall trees.
Inside, the house is spacious, well renovated and features exposed stone walls, terra cotta tile and wood floors, decorative fireplaces, contemporary furnishings with antique accents and all conveniences. Entry is into the living room with gray upholstered sofas grouped around matching upholstered ottomans. It’s a comfortable room old stone fireplace, built-in shelves, glass occasional tables and lamps. Several steps lead down to the dining room with exposed stone walls and a pretty rectangular pine dining table and chairs for 6 people. Adjacent is the fully-equipped kitchen with oak cabinets, tile counters, a tile-top table and all appliances. On the opposite side of the dining room is a pleasant den, also accented by lovely exposed stone walls and with brown leather sofa, coffee table and television. The property includes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A stairway off the hall between the dining room and the den leads to the bedrooms, one with a double bed and 2 with twin beds.. They are all charmingly decorated and feature wood floors, pastel walls with lovely friezes, pretty bedcovers and curtains. Also upstairs is a recently renovated bathroom, striking with its sea green ceramic tiles, sleek Italian shower and sink. Downstairs off the den is another full bathroom.
